We began by putting up the "Festivus Pole."
Gramps displayed his "Feats of Strength."
And a "Festivus Miracle" occurred when we finally figured out how to get the whole thing together.
(Please note the happy folks putting the first decoration on their first Christmas tree in their new house!)
Later on Claire provided the entertainment by trying on Gramps' shoes (again) and actually get her feet of the ground.
I don't know who was having more fun - Claire or Gramps.
Here are Claire & Thor enjoying some Festivus "downtime."
Luckily we decided not to have the traditional "Airing of Grievances" this year. But it still could be coming . . . Festivus isn't officially until December 23rd.
(For those of you who don't know what all this Festivus talk is about - don't worry, most don't and most of the participants didn't either. It is from an old Seinfeld episode and Mommy & Daddy hee hawed the whole time about it.)
