Catching Leprechauns

We set a trap for a Leprechaun the night before St. Patrick’s Day.

He was supposed to skip down the path and climb the stairs and trip on the top step and fall in the hole.

We almost got him. He tripped but caught himself and ran off just in time. He dropped some Lucky Charms and left a note.

Alec ate the Lucky Charms and dropped the note in the Hazel’s water bowl. So there aren’t any more pictures but this is what the letter said -

To My Dear Lass & Laddy,

Nice job on the trap! You almost got me. When I tripped on the top stair I think I may have lost some of my Lucky Charms. enjoy them & I will be back to see you again!

Claire is all ready for school the Friday before St. Patrick’s Day. How handy is it that most of her school shirts are green?

AND she likes Fruit Loops for breakfast now.

What an Encumbrance

Alec likes to carry a lot of stuff.

He is rarely without his Woofy and Baby Boy Bazel. And if there is a drink of interest he has that and a the same goes for a snack.

And when he has all of this stuff, sometimes he might drop a few things. But he is never discouraged, he just picks up and

he’s ready to go once again.

Fun in the Sun!

It was so nice to play outside the other day (obviously not this week – too cold!) and we had a lot of fun.

Claire wanted to fly her “kite” that they made in school.

It was more human propelled than wind. But a lot of fun!
