On occasion, Claire has been known to be demanding. And on occasion, her mother gives in to said demands . . .
This is what must be worn to eat dinner these days.
Bon Appétit!

Bon Appétit!
a lot, apparently . . .
We were making cupcakes for the Christ the King Carnival on Saturday and Claire must have been hungry.
Before I realized it she grabbed a banana and started trying to take bites. It was a little mushy so I took that away and before I could give her an alternative she grabbed and took a bite out of an apple.
I thought this was about as far as she was going to get . . . uh, no.
Sometimes she didn’t use hands . . .
Again, I thought she was done . . .
She munched and worked on that thing like it was going out of style.
And she even started on another one before I realized it. Guess I should give her more apples whole – she loved it and had a great time.
Needless to say, I didn’t get around to taking any pics of the cupcakes. So unless you won them at the carnival just imagine them. They were pretty and green. Claire liked those too!
because Claire could use some . . .
So she got this cute outfit for Easter from Uncle Gene and I thought she could wear it as long pants instead of cropped ones like they are supposed to be. I didn’t realize how much more junk she needs in the trunk to wear a 2T.
She might not be a plumber but maybe she is on the road to mechanic . . .
Oh what a cute moon it would be . . .
They fell a little lower and she is trying to pull them up. We gave up on them shortly after this.
Claire and her 13-year old cousins on Mother’s Day.
The only picture taken of me on Mother’s Day and it’s with my favorite nephew.
Here she comes – ready to play!
She loves to sit in the window in the Dining Room.
Love this picture – arms full again . . . even caught her skirt.
Just cute. Love her in cute tights.
What are you looking at, lady?
Maybe Mommy won’t notice . . .
Um, yea, I think Mommy noticed.
And this pretty much sums up a lot of the week . . .
Well Mommy and Daddy finally got the vegetable garden ready to plant and Claire got home just in time to do just that.
Claire getting instructions from Daddy.
Claire plants her first beans.
So careful.
Time to water. She watered herself more than the plants. But what did we expect?
Grandma helping out.
Grandpa and Uncle Gene came too!
Time for “Monster Hands” with gloves!
Claire helped Mommy plant the flower seeds for the cutting garden.
Post gardening fun . . .
Claire and Mommy are working on getting over whatever it is that Daddy brought home from the hospital last week and infected us. We both have yucky throats and Claire has an ear infection. We are both on Amoxicillin and it seems to be helping, some. Thanks Dr. I!
Here are a couple of pics from today . . .
Taking a moment to read a little.Insisting on wearing Grammy’s hat around the house for a while.
I recently caught Claire a couple of times with her arms full of her buddies . . .
First thing in the morning, these are her sleeping buddies – Ducky, Dolly, Jack-o-Lantern and Bunny. Never a night without them.
This day the 100 Acre Wood wanted to come out to play, I guess. Please note her summer slippers.
I’m glad she has buddies. They are always there when you need them!
