A Visit From the Easter Bunny

Since Claire has been such a good girl, the Easter Bunny visited her.

And brought her a really big ball!

She loves it!

And a shopping cart and a new Ducky!

And then the Egg Hunting began.

And she was off!

The egg didn’t stand a chance . . .

Sasquatch (Cousin Thor) was spotted in the back 40 hunting eggs too.

The shopping cart is handy in an egg hunt.

Everyone was out for the hunt – even Gramps!

Uncle Gene and Grandpa helped out too.

Things a Girl Needs to Know

How to eat Icing . . .

This past Saturday Grammy, Auntie Alison, Claire and Mommy iced Easter cookies. It was a perfect time to introduce Claire to the wondrous world of freestyle icing consumption.

First you have to stick out your finger to get the icing.

Bring it back . . .

and lick your finger!

  And maybe get some on your face and new baby.

Dying Easter Eggs

We dyed Easter Eggs on Saturday, of course, and Claire and Mommy got things ready before everyone came over later in the afternoon.

One egg in every color (twelve total!) and off to take a nap.

Back from the nap and everyone is here. Taking out the eggs that soaked while she was asleep (for twenty minutes).

A New Baby for Claire

Grandma and pa came over on Saturday to bring Claire her Easter so not to interfere with the Easter Bunny’s big day. Claire got some really nice things.

  What did the Easter Grandparents bring?

  A new dress and itty bitty baby!

A new big baby for Claire – with removable (i.e. washable) clothes!

And she really likes the itty bitty baby.

And pretty much the best picture of the three of them together . . . Thank you for the presents Grandma & pa!

Claire’s Cookies

Claire and I made a cookies today. Sugar Cookies to roll out for Easter and Chocolate Chip for Daddy.

Claire has some swell Godparents, doesn’t she? An Easter package came from Uncle Lance and Aunt Beth today. How sweet!
