Under the Sea

We took a trip to the aquarium in Tulsa a couple of weeks ago and it was really fun! Here are some pics. Some of them are crazy because Mommy was playing around with the different exposures.

They liked the rays. Alec tried to touch one but his arm wasn’t long enough. Mommy and Daddy did and Claire wouldn’t dare.

The rays were a lot of fun too. They would swim around and wave and try to splash everybody. Claire didn’t want to get wet and Alec thought it was funny.

We had a lot of fun. The Aquarium was just right for our little people.

Our Summer Nature Lesson

We had a cardinal decide to take up residence in our handing basket outside the kitchen window. Over the course of several weeks we got to watch her build her nest, lay her egg, sit on her egg and then nurture her new baby. All with the help of her husband cardinal. He was quite doting. The kids were fascinated.

She got out of the nest and it looking at the world, or at least in our widow

And the last time we saw her. She went out into the big world and didn’t look back.

Painting at the Fort

They had a several free workshops at the Old Fort this summer for kids. We went to four of them and they were a lot of fun. This was probably our favorite or tied with making clay pots. Our neighbor Maya came with us which made it even more fun!

Playing Catch-up
